Nokia 8 Launched With Dual Cameras, OZO 360 Audio, Snapdragon 835

After a series of leaks and rumors, HMD Global has finally unveiled its first ever Android flagship phone Nokia 8. The device will go on sale in early September across Europe for a price of 599 Euros. At this price point, it faces fierce competition from the likes of Galaxy S8, LG G6, etc.

Contrary to the 2017 flagship standards, the Nokia 8 comes with thick bezels around the display. The antennae are placed at the top and bottom edges without blemishing the look of the phone. 13 MP dual camera setup with Zeiss optics and Ozo audio support are key highlights of the smartphone.

Nokia 8 Specifications

Nokia 8 comes with a 5.3-inch QHD (1440 x 2560 pixels) IPS LCD panel with support for ‘always-on-display’. The device is splash resistant with an IP54 rating. It runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box. HMD has also promised that the Nokia 8 will be amongst the first few devices to receive the Android O update.

In the camera department, the Nokia 8 houses a dual camera setup that consists of one 13MP monochrome sensor and one 13MP RGB sensor. On the front, it features a 13MP sensor with auto focus. Both front and rear camera can shoot 4K Ultra videos, however, OIS is present only in the 13MP color sensor on the back.
