Nokia’s much awaited phone Nokia Lumia 1020 will be launched officially in a few hours in New York, USA. The most highlighted feature of this new Lumia series phone is its whooping 41 MP camera. Last month Nokia invited everyone to join the launch of this phone on their official blog and ever since speculations about the specs and model number are all over the internet. Let’s take a look at the expected specifications which will be made official in a few hours.
This phone comes with a 4.5 Inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 768(WXGA) thus giving you a pixel density of 331 ppi. The display is protected by 2.5 D sculpted Gorilla Glass 3 thus making it extremely resistant to abuse. The display type will be Nokia’s clear black which will give you good outdoor visibility by reducing reflected light from your screen. This display will come with super sensitive touch for nail and glove usage.
This phone will be powered by a 1.5 GHz dual core Snapdragon processor; exact snapdragon processor is not yet leaked. The processor specifications might be a little disappointing (if true) as we expected a quad core processor from this device. RAM capacity is rated at 2GB and the internal storage is 32 GB along with 7GB Skydrive cloud storage.
The most conspicuous feature of this device is its magnificent PureView 41 MP camera with 6 element lens with Optical Image Stabilization ,backside illuminated image sensor, 6 lens optics, high resolution zoom 3x, Auto focus, Xenon flash, LED for video ,full HD video recording at 30fps and includes Nokia Pro Camera and smart camera mode. This device will also have a HD 1.2 MP wide angle secondary camera for self portraits and video calling.
Connectivity features include Wi-Fi, USB 2.0, BT 3.0, NFC, aGPS, Glonass and 3.5 mm audio connector. The battery capacity is rated at 2000 mAh which supports wireless charging via accessory cover. Audio features include IHF speakers, 2 microphones, HD voice complaints along with 3.5mm AV connector.

The body dimensions are 130.4 x 71.4 x 10.4 mm and it weighs 158 g which is less than what was expected (Samsung galaxy S4 Zoom weighs 208 grams) over all specifications of this phone seem quite impressive and with window phones gaining popularity in India, Nokia might hit the mark with this one.
