Several leaks and rumors have suggested that the OnePlus 6T will be launched in October and some even specified the launch date as October 17. Now, the latest leak further suggests the OnePlus 6T launch date in India.
A leaked invite image from OnePlus has surfaced online that indicates OnePlus 6T launch date in India is October 17. The invitation doesn’t give any further detail about the launch event. It only mentions October 17 as the launch date and the slogan for the OnePlus 6T. The ‘Unlock The Speed’ slogan hints at the in-display fingerprint sensor.

OnePlus hasn’t announced anything about the launch date of OnePlus 6T as of now. This new leak and a previous leak from CNET have suggested the same launch date. So, it is very likely that there will be simultaneous launch events on October 17 in more than one markets.
So, while this invite is for the India launch, there could be other events in China, North America, and Europe as well on the same date. Some reports have also suggested that a single global keynote event will take place on October 16 and the next day it will be launched in India just like the OnePlus 6 launch in May. But, one thing seems clear that OnePlus 6T India launch will be on October 17.

If we talk about the features, the OnePlus 6T is expected to come with a new waterdrop-style notch display. It will also have an in-display fingerprint sensor. And there will be a dual rear camera setup on 6T. The phone will be powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
The company has already teased OnePlus 6T to be an Amazon exclusive in India. We should wait for the October 17 to know all the details including pricing of the OnePlus 6T.
