OnePlus 6T rumors could be true as it allegedly spotted on EEC certification site

OnePlus launches the T versions of its smartphones around November every year, and chances are this trend will not change for the OnePlus 6T too. We have already seen some rumours about the OnePlus 6T online in the past few weeks and now the smartphone has been spotted on the EEC certification site.

The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) has certified the alleged OnePlus 6T carrying the model number A6013 in Russia. To recall, the OnePlus 6 was listed on TENAA certification with a model number A6000 so this A6013 model number could possibly be the OnePlus 6T. PhoneCorridor first spotted this listing on EEC site. Though the listing reveals nothing else except the model number of the OnePlus smartphone.

Previously, OnePlus co-found Carl Pei had said that the company would launch the T version of the OnePlus 6 only if they have some new technology to offer. Looks like OnePlus, like ever, will again take inspiration from Oppo’s R-series. Hence it is possible that some features and design of OnePlus 6T could be borrowed from recently launched Oppo R17 Pro.

If this happens, we would see a triple camera setup, a similar waterdrop notch on the front, and an improved Dash Charge which could be based on Oppo’s SuperVOOC flash charge. It is not yet clear whether OnePlus will also adopt the under display fingerprint scanner, as the company usually waits for such technologies to get more reliable before using them.

All of these leaks and rumours are just assumptions though. There is a lot of time until November and we also haven’t yet received anything official from OnePlus.
