OnePlus has announced a Buyback program in India in partnership with Cashify. This program will allow customers to trade in their old smartphone after purchasing a new OnePlus smartphone. The buyback programme is live on the OnePlus India online store and is available on select smartphones and pin codes only.

Earlier, OnePlus had launched the Lava Red edition OnePlus 5T in India which went on sale with a Buyback Program. Now, the company has extended its Buyback Program powered by Cashify to all the OnePlus smartphones. Currently, there are 22 brands that are eligible for buyback and the program is available in 31 cities across India.

How will buyback program work?

First of all, you need to visit the OnePlus online store. Now, click on start the buyback program and get the quote for your old device after selecting your city and smartphone you want to exchange. Then proceed with the purchase of a new OnePlus smartphone from the online store.

Once payment for the new smartphone is successfully done, the new OnePlus smartphone will be delivered to you first. After that, Cashify team will get in touch with you to fix an appointment. The Cashify team will visit you and verify if your device is in a working condition or not before paying the amount.

Users will also need to show an ID proof at the time of the exchange, as OnePlus says this is done to ensure the customer is the actual owner of the product. After verification, cash will be handed over to you in exchange for your old device. No pick-up or service charges are applicable.
