OnePlus Upgraded Gallery brings OnePlus 6’s editing features to OnePlus 5T, 5, 3T and 3

OnePlus is working hard to bring the premium experience to most of its older devices. The company has launched the open beta release for the OnePlus 3 and 3T, the Project Treble support for the OnePlus 5 and 5T and a promise for a software update. Now, they have released an upgrade for the default OnePlus gallery app for OnePlus 5T/5, OnePlus 3T/3.

The upgraded version of the Oxygen OS gallery app comes with all the video editing tools which were already available in OnePlus 6. The changelog shows that OnePlus added a video editing feature to trim videos, add background music and video filters. There is a slow-motion video editing feature added to the gallery with some bug fixes and experience improvements.

These features are already available to the stock gallery app of the OnePlus 6. The app enables the user to trim the videos accordingly, add background music to videos and apply the slow motion effect to pictures. To get this update, just open the Google Play Store and check for the new updates. Or you can just go to this link and download the update.

To use the video editing options, open the updated gallery app and open any video. Tap on the edit button available below, the editor will open and you will see three editing options. The Trim button will trim the video, the Filter option will slap a filter onto the video and the Music option will add a background music to the video.
