Oppo A7 with big waterdrop notch display, dual cameras launched in India for Rs. 16,990

Oppo has launched it’s latest mid-range smartphone in India called Oppo A7. The phone was first launched in China last week. The key features of the phone are a waterdrop notch display, Snapdragon 450, 13MP+2MP rear cameras, 16MP front camera, and a 4230mAh battery.

The new Oppo A7 is priced at Rs. 16,990 in India and it will be available via Flipkart starting next week. Check out its full features here.

OPPO A7 Specifications

The Oppo A7 sports a 6.2-inch HD+ (1520 x 720 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display with a waterdrop style notch on top and up to 88.3% screen-to-body ratio. It comes with a unique back pattern design that also sports a fingerprint sensor.

Under the hood, the phone houses an Octa-Core Snapdragon 450 processor with Adreno 506 GPU. It has 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage option. The storage is expandable up to 256GB with microSD. The smartphone runs ColorOS 5.2 based on Android 8.1 Oreo.


The Dual SIM phone has dedicated SIM card and microSD slots. Other connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS, and USB OTG. The phone is powered by a 4230mAh battery.

In terms of camera, there is a dual camera set up at the back with a 13MP primary camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture and a 2MP secondary camera with f/2.4 aperture. There is a 16MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture and AR stickers.

The new Oppo A7 comes in Glaze Blue and Glaring Gold color options. It will be go on sale via Flipkart starting next week.
