OPPO Find 7 leaks in a design believed to be the final one

OPPO’s Find 7, successor to the popular Find 5, just found itself leaked thanks to a set of renders that emerged on the Red Dot website.

The design that was leaked is believed to be the final design, and sources indicate the same. The page on Red Dot was however removed since it found itself in a rage, which however couldn’t prevent the news from spreading like wild fire.

Design wise, the Find 7 will have much of what the Find 5 had on offer. This time round though, the company seems to have made the device much more thinner and sleeker compared to the previous outing. As can be seen from the pictures, the device now has simpler, straighter design elements to it that go well with the apparently slim body.

For those unawares, the device is set to ship in 2 display variants apart from storage and connectivity ones. The high-end Find 7 version will have a 2560 x 1440p design whereas the ‘lower-end’ variant will feature a much more common 1920 x 1080p display.

An interesting design element comes in the form of an LED arc that sits at the chin of the device. Another Chinese maker, Meizu, is known for its unorthodox approach with lights; the Meizu MX2 was the first phone to feature an illuminated halo home button which doubled up as a notification LED. OPPO seemingly are trying to take this a level up by including an entire LED arc.

The Find 7 is scheduled to make an appearance on the 19th this month, which is when we’ll know if the design is indeed the final one.
