Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Launch Date Revealed, Register To Win Goodie Bags

Xiaomi has announced that its Redmi Note 3 smartphone will be launched in India very soon. The company has posted an invite on the Xiaomi India official website, announcing about their launch event in Delhi on March 3rd. The Redmi Note 3 was announced in China but it was not available for Indian users till now. Xiaomi also has plans to launch its latest flagship Xiaomi Mi 5 at the MWC 2016, which is also one of the most awaited flagships coming this year.

The smartphone will be the company’s first phone with to feature a fingerprint sensor and a full-metal body. It packs a 5.5-inch 1080p screen and it is powered by a Hexa-Core Snapdragon 650 processor and Adreno 510 GPU. It comes in 2GB/16GB and 3GB/32GB memory options. Measuring 150 x 76 x 8.7 mm and weighing in at 164g, the handset runs Android 5.0.2 (Lollipop) with MiUI 7 on top.

Redmi Note 3 has a 16 MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, LED flash and phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF), resulting in a quicker focus of just 0.1 second. On the front, it has a 5 MP selfie camera. The connectivity options include Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi, dual SIM support with 4G and microUSB port. All this is powered by a 4050mAh capacity battery with fast charging, which can charge the battery up to 50% in an hour.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 comes in Dark Grey, Silver and Champagne Gold colors. It was launched in China at a price of 999 Yuan (INR 10,500 approx.), but currently there is no information exactly how much the device will cost in India. The event takes place at Talkatora Stadium, Gate 5, Talkatora Garden, New Delhi on March 3rd at 04:30PM.
