Samsung’s new ChatON Messenger will now be compatible across multiple platforms with its updated version 3.5. Other enhancements include up to 1 GB of file sharing and instant translation between English and Hindi language.

On the updated ChatON messenger, You have the option to make extra large chat groups with up to 1001 members, use Indianized Anicons, send message recall and also share your location with friends. You can use the recall feature to delete messages in personal Chat Window, even after you have hit the send button- a feature we would love to see on every messenger apps. All you have to do is long Press the text message and tap on Message Recall.

Samsung Chat On is multi platform service and can be used across Android, iOS, Blackberry and Windows platform and has over 200 million subscribers globally. Apart from Hindi to English translation, you will also get a local language translation feature for translation in 14 regional languages.

The message integration feature will allow users to manage their chatON and SMS/MMS messages from the same sender in one chat window. Samsung has also partnered with several big names like Aaj Tak, Ebay, CriqHQ, etc in order to provide exclusive content like News, Food, Eductaion, etc along with exclusive deals for ChatON India subscribers.

ChatON messenger has been around for longest duration of time compared to other apps in the Samsung’s unique set of apps. The major update brings several welcome features like support for large file transfer, cross platform support and Message recall.
