Samsung Galaxy Core Max Gets Listed on Official Chinese Website

Samsung has listed a new smartphone called Galaxy Core Max on its official Chinese website. The handset comes with the model number SM-G5108 and it is larger than the other Galaxy Core smartphones in the lineup. As of now, the vendor has not revealed any details pertaining to the pricing of the availability of the smartphone within China and globally as well.

Going by the listing, the Galaxy Core Max is fueled by Android 4.4 KitKat operating system out of the box topped with TouchWiz UI and flaunts a 4.8 inch qHD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 960×540 pixels. The device draws its energy from a quad-core processor of unspecified chipset that ticks at 1.2 GHz clock speed paired with 1 GB of RAM.

Storage requirements of the users are handled by 8 GB of internal storage that can be expanded externally by another 64 GB. There is an 8 MP primary camera in the Samsung Galaxy Core Max and it is accompanied by LED flash. Also, there is a front facing 5 MP selfie camera onboard for video conferencing. The connectivity features that are a part of the new Samsung phone are 3G, 4G, GPS/a-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 and micro USB. A 2,200 mAh battery is incorporated in the smartphone to render a decent backup to it.

Prior to the Galaxy Core Max, the Chinese Samsung website listed the Galaxy S5 4G+ with the model number SM-G901F and similar specifications as the flagship device. However, the additions to this smartphone include the powerful 2.5 GHz Snapdragon 805 processor with support for LTE-A connectivity.
