Samsung Galaxy J7 Nxt receives a price cut: New price, specs and more

Samsung has reduced the price of its budget smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy J7 Nxt in India. The new starting price of the smartphone is Rs. 9,990 for the 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage variant. The 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage variant is now available at a price of Rs 11,990.

Earlier, the 2GB RAM and 3GB RAM variants of the Samsung Galaxy J7 Nxt were priced at Rs. 10,490 and Rs. 12,990 respectively. These new prices are only applicable in the offline market and currently the online price of the smartphones is the same as before.

The Samsung Galaxy J7 comes with a 5.5 inch HD Super AMOLED display and is powered by a 1.6 GHz octa-core processor. The smartphone is available in two variants – 2GB RAM with 16GB internal storage and 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storgae. The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat.

The smartphone features a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. The smartphone is only 7.6 mm thick and weighs 170 grams. Connectivity options on the device include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and micro USB port with OTG. The smartphone is powered by a 3,000mAh battery for a long usage.


Telecom operator Vodafone is running a cashback program on the Samsung Galaxy J7 Nxt under which the company is providing a cashback of up to Rs. 1,500. This offer is available in both the online and offline market. The company will provide Rs. 1,500 as a cashback in the Vodafone mPesa wallet.

To get this cashback, vodafone users will have to recharge with the Rs. 198 plan every month for 24 months. The Rs. 198 plan offers 250 minutes of calling, 1.4GB data and 100 SMS per day for 28 days.
