Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime 2 unveiled in India for Rs. 13,990

Samsung released the Galaxy J7 Prime in India back in 2016 and now, the company has launched an upgraded version of it in India. The Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime 2 is now official and it comes with a decent hardware.

The device comes with a full HD 16:9 display and is powered by an octa-core processor. The camera is a single shooter at the front and at the back. The smartphone is still running on Android 7.1 Nougat and it comes with upgraded 32GB internal storage.

The Galaxy J7 Prime 2 also features the Samsung Mall app which allows users to search products using the images via machine learning. It was released first on the Galaxy On7 Prime earlier this year. Additionally, Samsung Pay Mini is also available on this smartphone which enables the user to pay on selected outlets using only the smartphone. This service is connected to UPI service so the money can be transferred via mobile number.

Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime 2 Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime 2 smartphone comes with a 5.5 inch full HD resolution display with 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass protection. The smartphone is powered by an Exynos 7870 processor running at a clock speed of 1.6 GHz. The processor is backed up by 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage which is expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card.

 

The smartphone runs on Android 7.1 Nougat with Samsung Experience UI on the top. The Galaxy J7 Prime 2 comes with a 13MP shooter both at the rear and at the front. The rear camera comes with an LED flash. The smartphone is powered by a 3,300mAh battery.

The Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime 2 comes in two colors, Black and Gold and the device is priced at Rs. 13,990. The smartphone is available to buy from the Samsung online store as well as offline retailers.
