Once again we have a leak on the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 8. This time though, the leaks claim to be the final specifications of the Stylus-bearing Note 8. From a 6.3 inch display, Dual cameras, IP 68 water-resistance and much more, the Galaxy Note 8 looks promising.

Talking about the leaked ‘Final’ specifications, these have come from famous leakster Evan Blass. Earlier, he leaked the Golden color variant images along with the phone’s design from all sides.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Specifications

Calling these the ‘Final’ leaked specs seems fair. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is told to come with an IP68 water-resistance certification. The leaked build shows Bixby button and Volume Rockers to the left and Lock button to the right. The dimensions are set at 162.5mm x 74.6mm, bearing 8.5mm thickness.

On the back, we see the Fingerprint sensor and a Dual camera setup. The leaks call it a combination of 2 lenses of 12MP each. The Wide-Angle lens will come with f/1.7 aperture and Dual-Pixel autofocus and the Telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture and 2x Optical zoom. Both lenses feature OIS. The front camera will be an 8MP unit with f/1.7 aperture and Auto focus lens.

Talking about the display, the leaks have finalized a 6.3-inch Super AMOLED display with 1440×2960 resolution and 18.5:9 aspect ratio. Looking at the leaks, we can see it is close to S8’s Infinity display, with 2.5D curved glass.

One of the biggest confirmations from the final leaks is hardware. The leaks report the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 to come with Samsung’s in-house Exynos 8895 chipset. Although, in the US model, we may see a Snapdragon 835 processor. Both chips are design on Samsung’s 10nm FinFET technology. Along with that comes 6GB RAM and 64GB ROM with microSD card expansion option.

No big leaks about the software or OS tweaks are out yet, but we can expect the Note 8 to run Android 7.1 Nougat. along with that, we may see the Grace UI and an Always-On display.

In terms of battery, Evan’s leaks confirm a 3,300 mAh battery with wireless charging. Also confirming a USB Type-C port.

Pricing and Variants

The leaks suggest that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will ship in 4 colors, Midnight Black, Maple Gold, Orchid Grey, and Deep Sea Blue. It is reported to be priced at 1,000 Euros which roughly translates to Rs. 75,000.
