The first leaked confirmation here is a bit disappointing. You may not get the much anticipated under-display fingerprint sensor. Samsung is reportedly not yet ready with the under-display fingerprint sensor, so the Galaxy Note 8 may come with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, just like the Galaxy S8.

Coming to the second confirmation from the leaks, we have confirmation about a Dual Camera module. The leaked images show the Galaxy Note 8 with a vertically set Dual-camera which will be focussed more on photography than AR usage.

The third confirmation is about the display. The Leaks show a similar infinity display as on the S8. Although, the display on the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be sharper around the edges and with lesser curves. The Note 8 may come with minimum bezels at the top and bottom.

Galaxy Note 8 Leaked Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be this year’s Note series flagship. The launch invites for 23 August have already been sent. Starting with the display, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is expected to have a 6.3-inch Super AMOLED display with 18.5:9 Aspect ratio.

On cameras, we’ve had rumours about a Dual camera setup with one wide angle and one Telephoto lens of 12MP each. This rumour is further confirmed with the vertical placement of the rear camera module. Coming to the front-camera, you may get an 8MP unit with f/1.7 aperture.

In terms of hardware, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is expected to run Exynos 8895 chip Globally and Snapdragon 835 chip in the USA. Also, the phablet is expected to pack 6GB RAM and 64GB ROM with microSD card expansion option.

Android 7.1 Nougat with Grace UI and Always On display are much anticipated on the Note 8. You may get a 3,300 mAh battery with wireless charging capabilities. A USB Type-C port may also be there.
