Samsung outs Galaxy S5 Experience App showing key features of the phone

Samsung has been touting every possible approach with the Galaxy S5 awaiting its global release in April. Right now, the vendor has launched the Galaxy S5 Experience app, which is available for download on the Google Play Store and it offers a sneak peek of how it would feel to have the Galaxy S5 in your hand.

With the Galaxy S5 Experience app, those wondering to buy the Samsung’s flagship model can experience the rear camera, fitness features and how the phone connects to the Gear smartwatches as well. It is merely provides a walkthrough over all the main aspects of the Galaxy S5 such as its camera interface, S Health app and Ultra Power battery saving mode to mention a few. Also, users can witness the water resistant nature and the build quality of the handset.

It could be an interesting for the Android smartphone users to experience the new Ultra Power Save Mode as it will deliver triple the battery life as compared to the previous generation models. On experiencing this in real time, users can determine the usefulness of this mode and to decide if it will be beneficial for them as the Ultra Power Save Mode has its own limitations besides uses. Indeed, this mode will lower the connection speed and the performance levels. It will restrict a few applications and make the screen black and white.

Well, one can download the Galaxy S5 Experience app on any smartphone that is flavored with Android 4.0 or later versions and with a display with 480×800 pixel resolution. Also, there the smartphone should be equipped with a 1 GHz processor supplemented with 1 GB of RAM. However, this app cannot be downloaded on tablets.

The Galaxy S5 will hit the retail shelves in many countries across the globe starting from April 11, however the price of the smartphone is still not disclosed. As per the reports that are flowing in, the Galaxy S5 will be priced lower than the release price of its predecessor. According to ZDNet Korea, the factory price of the handset is approximately 800,000 won or $744 while that of the Galaxy S4 at its release time was 890,000 won, which is $827 approximately.
