Sony India Launched Xperia Tablet Z with 10.1 Inch HD Display at Rs. 46,990 INR

So here we are with one of the most expensive Android tablets ever launched in the market but there is a reason behind it, the hardware features coming along with this device make this something special and thus it has been priced high. We reported about its pre-order which was available on Flipkart at the price of 44,990 INR but now this tablet has been officially launched today and if you missed the chance of pre-order then get ready to pay 2,000 INR extra because now the MRP of the product is 46,990 INR.

This comes with the screen size of 10.1 inches and that too with the HD display of 1080p (so you have a big screen and then an ultra clear display). The weight of the tablet is just 495 grams (something close to the weight of the 7-inch tablets) and the thickness is also only 6.8 mm. So the dimensions are great and they incorporate high degree of portability for the users.

Now let us talk about the power then you have nothing but the best with Qualcomm Snapdragon Pro Quad Core processor which has been clocked at the frequency of 1.5 GHz and this power has also been supported by 2GB RAM (this is something unusual and has never been seen in any of the tablet before). This clearly out-steps all the tablets in terms of power available as of now in the market.

Now usually you must have observed that the tablets are not priced at much higher rates and while doing so they compromise on the factors like camera and battery but this one (as it has been priced higher) has a primary camera of 8.1 MP on the back panel of the tablet and 2.2 MP camera in the front.

The battery strength of this device if 6800mAh which is again enough to provide you the 1240 hours of Standby time on 2G and 1270 hours on 3G. Now talking about the robustness then as per the name of ‘Tablet Z’, it also has its feature of being dustproof and waterproof.

So in all after paying such a huge amount you cannot crib about anything on this tablet when it comes to power, robustness, display clarity, portability and any other factor. So if you are ready to such a huge amount for a tablet then obviously you will love the overall performance of this tablet but do you really like the Android skin of Sony Xperia devices? Think and then decide.
