Swipe Technologies has come up with a new smartphone in the entry level segment. The Swipe Marathon is priced attractively at Rs 4,599 and it arrives with a mammoth 4,000 mAh battery that is rated to provide up to 60 days of standby time. It carries the credits of being the first Swipe smartphone to arrive with a capacious battery.
In terms of specifications, the Swipe Marathon is given a 4.5 inch IPS display with a FWVGA resolution of 854×480 pixels and it is powered by a 1 GHz dual core processor. This processor is backed by a mere 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of native storage capacity that can be expanded externally by another 32 GB.
Fueled by Android 4.4 KitKat operating system like any other entry level device launched lately, the Swipe Marathon makes use of a 5 MP main camera at its back aided by LED Flash and a VGA front facing selfie camera for basic video conferencing.
