Verico International, Taiwan-based Company has launched its first smartphone in India, named Uni SHAPE 5V3. Even though the company is opting for the online route to channel this in Indian market, the price specification ration doesn’t seem as aggressive as the competition today demands.
The IPS LCD OGS display comes in universally favoured 5 inch size, and has 960 x 540 pixels (quarter HD) pixels spread across it. The handset is powered by 1.3 GHz quad core processor (most likely MT6582) backed by 1 GB RAM.
Since most manufacturers have moved on to 8 GB and 16 GB internal storage models, paltry 4 GB native storage space on Uni SHAPE 5V3 might be a deal breaker for moderate and heavy users.
Imaging hardware is more in line with modern times. Just like Yureka and Redmi Note, this one too comes with a 13 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front shooter. Other features include MicroSD card support, 2100 mAh battery, 3G HSPA+, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. Software is slightly dated Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.

Verico Uni SHAPE 5V3 will be selling in India on Snapdeal.com priced at Rs. 7,759 exclusively on Snapdeal. Verico is also offering free accessories worth 1500 INR with this phone. The company will also launch Tablets, USB-drives, Powerbanks, mobile accessories and Bluetooth speakers in India very soon.
