Vivo’s foldable phone might come from its new iQoo sub-brand

Two days ago Vivo announced its new sub-brand iQoo. Now, the first phone to launch under the new brand has surfaced online and interestingly it could be a foldable phone. The alleged renders of the first iQoo phone suggest that it will be a foldable device.

The leaked photos of Vivo‘s iQoo phone were posted on Weibo. The renders explain many details about the design of the phone. It could be a tall smartphone that will transform into a tablet-like device when unfolded. Also, unlike the other rumored foldable phones with fold-in design, it will come with outwards folding design. So that it will keep the screens outside.

Further, the pictures show that the display in the smartphone mode has four icon columns on the screen that gives us a look of the overall design of the device. The photos also suggest that it will sport negligible on each side and also there will be with no hole or notch for the selfie camera. This further hints that it may come with a pop-up mechanism.

Apart from the leaked photos, there’s not much detail is available about this foldable phone. The tipster has also revealed the expected price of the phone and it is tipped to be priced around CNY 5,000 (Rs. 53,000 approx.). However, there is no official announcement yet from Vivo regarding the first device from iQoo brand.
