Wickedleak Wammy One with Octa Core SoC Goes Official for 7,990 INR

The Mumbai based smartphone manufacturer, Wickedleak has added another low-cost octa core smartphone to its portfolio with the launch of the Wickedleak Wammy One. The smartphone is priced at Rs 7,990 and is available fro pre-order from the official Wickedleak website.

When it comes to specifications, the Wickedleak Wammy One is fitted with a standard 5 inch display carrying a HD screen resolution of 1280×720 pixels. The screen is an OGS (One Glass Solution) panel that will make it thin and Dragontrail Glass Protection for added strength. Energizing the Wickedleak offering is an octa core MediaTek MT6592 processor that is seen in many other affordable smartphones.  This processor is supplemented with 1 GB of RAM for swift multi-tasking.

On the imaging front, Wickedleak Wammy One features an 8 MP primary sensor at its back coupled with LED flash and FHD 1080p video recording support. Also, the handset comes with a 5 MP selfie camera at the front for video conferencing. Storage wise, the Wammy One is bundled with 8 GB of native storage space that can be expanded externally by another 32 GB using a micro SD card.

Other goodies of the Wickedleak Wammy One include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, dual SIM support and GPS connectivity features. The device draws its energy from a 2,800 mAh battery to keep it juiced up.


Furthermore, users have the option to make the Wammy One water resistant with the Aquaprotect Water Resistant Technology that is priced at Rs 1,500. This will enable the smartphone to sustain under water for about 30 minutes.
