Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has started an Express Delivery service in India to deliver its products in just one day without charging any additional charge. The service is only for orders placed through its Mi.com website or Mi Store app. The service is currently available in Bengaluru only.
Xiaomi will offer the ‘Express Delivery’ option on the order information page on the Mi.com and Mi Store app to avail the new service. So, when you are placing an order from the Mi Store app or Mi.com, and if you’re eligible, you’ll see the option to opt for ‘Express Delivery Service’. It is available for select Xiaomi smartphones as of now.
How to use Xiaomi Express Delivery
Go to mi.com website or Mi Store App. Add the product to the cart and click on checkout. On the ‘Order Information’ page, click ‘Delivery Service’ and if you are eligible, you will see the option to select ‘Express Delivery’ option. On the ‘Place Order’ page select ‘Express Delivery Service’ & Confirm the order.
Your product will be delivered within a day. It is to be noted that there is no extra charge for this service, provided the pin code is eligible for this service. The order timings must be between 9:00 AM and 4:30 PM. This express delivery service will be available from Monday to Saturday.
Also, for payment, the Cash on Delivery option will not be applicable for express delivery. The service is available only on the Mi Store app and the mi.com website and is currently being offered in Bengaluru for an order consisting one eligible product only.
Further, the service is only applicable for eligible products listed below. The service is being offered for popular Xiaomi smartphones including the Redmi Note 4, Mi Max 2, Mi A1, Redmi 4, Redmi Y1, Redmi 5A, Mi Max 2 and the Redmi 5A.
The latest announcement comes just after the launch of Xiaomi’s WhatsApp-based service in India. The service is aimed at offering updates about latest Xiaomi news, new product launches, product deals and sale and MIUI weekly updates reminder.
Xiaomi has also partnered with Smartbox to ease its product deliveries in Delhi-NCR. This service is also for orders made through Mi.com and the Mi Store app. Smartbox is an automated parcel terminal service provider across India. The Smartbox delivery terminals in Delhi NCR will be used to deliver Xiaomi products.
