The evidence came from the MIUI Source Code branch where company’s CEO Lei Jun confirmed this feature in a comment. Check out the screenshot of the conversation with the CEO below. The conversation between the OP and the CEO of the company is a bit rusty but gathering all of those things together, we can easily say that CEO confirmed the in display fingerprint sensor on the Xiaomi Mi 7.

Other rumors and leaks about the upcoming smartphone, Xiaomi Mi 7 are already in the news. According to those leaks and rumors, the smartphone will feature a notch display on the front just like every other smartphone brand is doing right now. Xiaomi adopted one feature in Vivo but didn’t seem to get inspired by the design. The smartphone will feature the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Soc with at least 8GB of RAM.
