Xiaomi Mi A2 India launch date has been revealed officially by the company. The new Android One phone will be launched on August 8 in India after being launched in Spain yesterday.
Xiaomi India head Manu Kumar Jain tweeted that “‘Mi A2 is coming to India on 8th August!.” Xiaomi Mi A2 was launched alongside the Mi A2 Lite. It was revealed at the event that Mi A2 Lite model will not be launched in Indian market.
Xiaomi Mi A2 Expected Price in India
The Mi A2 price starts at EUR 249 (Rs. 20,000 approx.) for the 3GB RAM+32GB storage variant. While the 4GB RAM+64GB storage model is priced at EUR 279 (roughly Rs. 22,500). The 6GB RAM+128GB storage variant is priced at EUR 349 (Rs. 28,100 approx.).
The Mi A2 price in India has not been revealed yet, however, it is expected that Mi A2 will be significantly cheaper for the Indian market.
Xiaomi Mi A2 Specifications
The Xiaomi Mi A2 sports a 5.99-inch FHD+ (1080×2160 pixels) IPS LCD panel with 18:9 aspect ratio and a 2.5D Gorilla Glass Protection. It is powered by a Snapdragon 660 chipset paired with up to 6GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage which is expandable via a dedicated microSD card slot.
In terms of camera, the Mi A2 has a dual rear camera setup with a 12MP primary Sony IMX486 sensor with 1.25-micron pixels and a 20MP secondary sensor with the same f/1.75 aperture, PDAF and dual-tone LED flash. There is a 20MP front camera with f/1.75 aperture and a Soft-LED light.
Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, dual-band (2.4GHz/ 5GHz) Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, and USB Type-C. The Mi A2 doesn’t come with a 3.5mm headphone jack. It packs a 3,010mAh battery.
