Xiaomi has launched a successor of the Xiaomi’s first Android One smartphone in India today. Xiaomi Mi A2 comes with impressive hardware and amazing camera specifications. The smartphone runs the stock Android user interface as Mi A2 has been launched under the Android One initiative from Google. The price of the Mi A2 is Rs. 16,999 and it is available exclusively through Amazon India.

The Xiaomi Mi A2 is priced at Rs. 16,999 in India for the only 4GB+64GB variant. It comes in four colors; Rose Gold, Gold, Lake Blue and Black. The smartphone can be pre-ordered via Amazon India and Mi.com starting from tomorrow August 09.  It will go on the first sale on August 16 via Mi.com. Amazon, Mi Home stores, and Mi preferred partners.

Xiaomi Mi A2 Specifications

Xiaomi Mi A2 comes with a 6 inches full HD+ display which comes with 18:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The smartphone looks more similar to its predecessor, only the dual camera module at the back is placed vertically. The smartphone is running the Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with vanilla Android experience, it will get the Android 9 Pie update soon.

 

The Mi A2 is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 Processor which is an octa-core processor running at a clock rate of 2.2 GHz. The processor is paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage which is expandable via microSD card slot.

The rear camera is a dual camera setup which includes a 12MP and a 20MP sensor with a f/1.8 aperture on both lenses. The smartphone comes with a 20MP front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture size. It comes with gyro EIS stabilization and support for 4K video recording at 30 fps. The battery in this smartphone is 3000 mAh and it supports Quick CHarge 3 via USB Type C port.
