Xiaomi is planning to launch its Mi Sports Shoes in India soon. The company already has a line-up of several lifestyle products in India like Mi Luggage, Travel Pillow and Anti-Pollution Mask etc. Today it has teased another lifestyle product on its social channels hinting at the launch of Mi Sports Shoes in India.
Xiaomi introduced its Mijia Sneakers 2 last year in China but here in India, it could launch them as Mi Sports Sneakers 2. The company posted a teaser image on its Twitter account that outlines a shoe with a tagline, “Ready to put your best foot forward.”
If we talk about Mi sports shoe design, it uses uni-moulding process that has 5 layers fused into a single mould to offer better stability and support to the feet. As per the product’s description, it will have a “breathable sole” in its internal part. The company has used five different materials to offer good grip and strength to the soul.
The upper part of the shoe has a 3-D seamless high-elastic knitted design. It is a durable design and can be washed as well. So, you can even use the washing machine to wash the Mi sneakers as it doesn’t have any chip or something.
The Mijia Sneakers is priced at 199 yuan (Rs. 2,115 approx.) in China. The hasn’t confirmed its price and launch date in India yet. But we expect the launch to be later this month. It will be available via Mi.com as well as offline Exclusive Mi home stores.
