It’s no secret that Xiaomi will soon commence its operations in India. Recently Xiamoi top executive Hugo Barra was spotted in India with MIUI India founder Rohit Ghalsasi. Now we are one more step closer to Xiaomi’s India launch as the Companys flagship phone Xiaomi Mi3 has already reached India for testing and research purposes.
The MI 3 sports a 5 inch display with 1080p full HD resolution. The IPS LCD display with 441 pixels per inches is quite bright and comes with decent colors. Software is Android 4.2 Jelly bean with MIUI Rom on top, which also plays a key part in generating revenue for heavily subsidized Xiaomi phones.
The processor employed is 2.3 GHz Snapdragon 800 quad core which is assisted by 2 GB RAM and Adreno 330 GPU. Internal storage is 16 GB/ 64 GB depending on the variant you choose, but the storage is not expandable.
At the back you will get a 13 MP AF camera with dual LED flash capable of full HD video recording and complimented by a 2 MP front shooter, which can also record 1080p Full HD videos.
The battery capacity is 3050 mAh which should last one day with moderate use. Connectivity features include 3G, WiFi ac, Bluetooth, GPS with AGPS Support and GLONASS.
Xiaomi is expanding its operations globally and has a target to sell over 40 million phones this year. With phones like Xiaomi Redmi Note hitting 15 million registrations even before official launch, this target seems more than achievable. Xiaomi is known for competitive pricing, the single most important trait to succeed in Indian Market! Let’s wait and watch
