Xiaomi Mi4i and Mi Band Launched in India At 12,999 INR and 999 INR

Xiaomi has unveiled Mi4i, the plastic variant of Xiaomi’s last year flagship Mi4. The new Mi4 is running the latest MIUI6 and will be selling for 12,999 INR – a very competitive and popular price segment in Indian market.

Xiaomi Mi4i has the same 5 Inch full HD 441 ppi sharp display and is powered by Snapdragon 615 Octa Core chipset clocked at 1.5 GHz, aided with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage.

The rear camera has a 13 MP sensor and Xiaomi highlighted HDR mode and HDR technology used in the device. A two tone flash is also present for the rear camera. A 5 MP front selfie camera is also present for selfies and video calling.

The MIUI6 running on the device is based on Android 5.0 Lollipop. Xiaomi Mi4i supports 4G LTE connectivity and has a 3120 mAh battery, which Xiaomi claims will last for 1.5 days of normal usage. For nor Xiaomi MI4i looks like a phone which will take 10k to 15k price segment by storm! Xiaomi Mi4i will be available starting 30th April in India.


Xioami Mi4i will be the first phone to be available in India via Mi.com. It will also be available on Amazon and Snapdeal from the same time.

Xiaomi has also announced arrival of Mi Band in India. The Mi Band tracks your fitness, can be used to unlock your phone, has smart alarm clock which wakes you gently 30 minute before your alarm goes off and a 30 day battery life.

Xiaomi claims that it has used industry best sensors for this water resist band which you can buy for 999 INR. The band will be available in several colors and Xiaomi will be selling first 1000 units for just 1 Rupee. Registration for these units starts from 28th April.
