Xiaomi Redmi 7 Pro with waterdrop notch display, AI dual rear cameras gets certified

Xiaomi is said to be working on its first smartphone with a waterdrop notch display. The alleged Xiaomi Redmi 7 Pro has been certified by TENAA in China with the model number M1901F9T. The TENAA listing reveals waterdrop notch display, AI dual rear cameras and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Previously, the Xiaomi Redmi 7 series allegedly passed through 3C certification with three models- M1901F7E, M1901F7T, and M1901F7C. The three models are expected to be the Redmi 7 series phones including Redmi 7A, Redmi 7, and Redmi 7 Pro just like the Redmi 6 series. Now, the Redmi 7 Pro has passed through TENAA suggesting its specs and design.

Redmi 7 Pro Expected Features

The TENAA listing reveals that the new Xiaomi Redmi 7 Pro will come with a glossy back and sport a waterdrop notch. The pictures shared on TENAA also show a dual rear camera setup stacked vertically and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor as well. The rear camera setup bulges out of the back and is also seen covered by a silver ring. The volume and power buttons are on the right side of the device.

The listing also reveals some specs as well and the Redmi 7 Pro will sport a 5.84-inch display. The dimensions are 147.76×71.89×7.8mm. It will pack a 2,900mAh battery. This listed model sports a 5.84-inch display which is same as the Redmi 6 Pro. So, it is expected to be Redmi 6 Pro‘s successor and should be the Redmi 7 Pro.
