Xiaomi has finally launched Redmi Note in India priced at 8,999 INR. Xiaomi fans have been desperately waiting for its arrival in India since several weeks and now some of them can wait a tad bit longer for the Redmi Note 4G, which will arrive by the second week of December for 9,999 INR.
Xiaomi Redmi Note comes with an IPS LCD Display, 5.5 Inches in size with 720p HD resolution. Redmi Note units sold in India will have Gorilla Glass 3 protection as well. It is powered by MediaTek MT6592 True Octa core SoC with 2 GB LPDDR3 RAM and 8 GB internal storage.
Other highlights include 13 MP rear camera, 5 MP front camera and a massive removable 3100 mAh battery. Xiaomi has provided support for fast charging and the handset ships with 2 Ampere charger for rapid charging. The software is however quite dated with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean based MIUI. The Redmi Note will be available exclusively on flipkart staring from 2nd December 2014. 4G LTE variant of Redmi Note with Single SIM support, Android 4.4 KitKat and 1.6 GHz Snapdragon quad core chipset will also be available in India. The Redmi Note 4G will also be available from Airtel store and Flipkart for 9,999 INR.
