Xolo Era 4G

Xolo Era 4G was today launched in India at an attractive price of Rs. 4,777, featuring 4G LTE support. This new smartphone from Xolo comes with a 5 inch IPS LCD display and runs on And2roid 5.1 Lollipop. Xolo has promised to update it to Android 6.0 Marshmallow in the near future.

The Xolo Era 4G follows in the footsteps of the Era 4K. With support for 4G LTE, the Xolo Era 4G hopes to cash in on the new 4G services being launched across the country. The Era 4G also comes with a high quality 5 inch IPS LCD display, with a screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. You an impressive pixel density of ~294 PPI, at the low price that Xolo has set.

Other features of the Xolo Era 4G include a 1.5 GHz quad core processor, 1 GB RAM and expandable internal storage of 8 GB. The internal storage can be expanded by another 32 GB using a microSD card. You also get a 5 MP camera on the back, along with an LED flash for improved low light imaging. Other than that, the Era 4G comes with a 2 MP camera on the front.

The Xolo Era 4G comes with support for dual SIMs, with one SIM connected via 4G LTE and the other max up to 3G HSPA+. Simply put, you can connect to 4G LTE using any one of the two SIMs. In such a situation, the other SIM can be connected to a 3G/2G network, depending on your choice. Other connectivity options like Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth, FM Radio are also present.

The Era 4G is powered by a 2500 mAh battery, which should last long enough given the specs of the phone.

The Xolo Era 4G will be available exclusively on Snapdeal. Xolo is organising flash sales for the Era 4G. Registrations for the first sale on February 26th have already begun.
