Zuk Z1 Available On eBay In France And Spain

We had the first look at the Zuk Z1 International version running CyanogenMod 12.1 earlier this month and if you’ve been following this device since it’s announcement, you’d be interested to know that the device is now available on the French and Spanish eBay sites for around 280 Euros!

Lenovo-backed Zuk take on the other contenders in its spec category head-on; it comes with the tested Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset with a 2.5 GHz quad-core processor, running on 3 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage.

You’d definitely be pleased with the rear 13.0 Megapixel Sony Exmor lens that comes with Double-LED Flash and the front-facing 8.0 Megapixel camera technology that takes advantage of the Qualcomm dual-core ISP image processing solutions to make for some excellent pictures.

In addition to having the not-so-originally-named Touch ID (its own Fingerprint identification) as most new devices do nowadays, it also comes with USB 3.0 Type-C which not only promises fast charging speeds but also fast data transfer speeds (500 MB/s).

The 5.5 inch display on the Zuk Z1 sports an IPS screen with a 1080p screen resolution (Full HD) and a 1500:1 contrast ratio and comes with a finger-proof coating to keep those smudges at bay. The device is also packed with several sensors that include three- axis gyro, digital compass, an accelerometer, proximity sensor, hall sensor, an ambient light sensor and of course, the fingerprint sensor that doubles up as the Home button.

What differentiates the international version of the Zuk Z1 from its Chinese sibling is the presence of Cyanogen OS 12.1 that offers a lot more customization and privacy/security settings over the stock Android Lollipop 5.1.1 than you’d normally have.

The Zuk Z1 supports dual Nano-SIM cards that support a 4G network across multiple bands making it a global 4G-ready device. Additional connectivity options include GPS/GLONASS support, 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and also Bluetooth 4.1. Weighing in at 175 grams (just over 6 ounces), the Zuk Z1 comes with a large but non-removable 4100 mAh battery that should hold you in good stead if you are unable to charge your phone for the most part of the day.

Available in White and Dark Grey and priced at 280 Euros (which is roughly INR 20,500), the Zuk Z1 makes for an interesting proposition when compared to the other devices out there. While we eagerly anticipate its arrival in India, we’d like to know what you think of the Zuk Z1!
