Lenovo pulled another device out of its bag at IFA 2015 with the launch of the Lenovo A2010. Touted to be the cheapest 4G smartphone in the country, it may turn out to be a good deal for the low-budget Indian smartphone users.

Physical Overview

The Lenovo A2010 comes packed in a matte finish plastic body. It has a slight curve on the back, with the edges on the side of the display slightly tampered with, which makes the phone feel good and enhances the grip while holding it. The build quality is commendable, and  the touch feature worked just fine when we tested the phone.


Lenovo has tried adding some curves on the edges of the phone with the matte finish adding to the look even more. The back cover and the 2000 mAh battery are removable for the convenience. The volume key and power button are placed on the right side of the phone, on the top you will find the 3.5mm audio jack coupled with the microUSB port. Where the back of the phone has a 5MP camera with LED Flash and a speaker at the bottom.

User Interface

The users will find Android 5.1 Lollipop customised with Lenovo’s Vibe UI which is a plus. There are no LED notifications and the capacitive buttons are not back-lit. The phone, overall, feels good to use and is customised for a hassle free use.

Camera Overview

Lenovo A2010 comes with a 5 MP primary camera with LED flash and a 2 MP selfie shooter. The camera does support the HDR and autofocus, which is surprisingly impressive for a smartphone of this range. The primary camera clicks decent pictures as we don’t expect much from a 5MP in terms of details. The front camera is also good, overall the camera performs best upto its capabilities.

The camera supports different shooting modes like smile detection, live photo mode, motion track mode, multi angle mode and panorama mode as well.

Priced in India at Rs. 4,990, the Lenovo A2010 will be available soon exclusively via Flipkart very soon.
