Display

Gionee A1

Gionee A1 features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080p) IPS LCD display with a 2.5D curved glass and Gorilla glass protection. The full HD display gives a bright and sharp display while the Gorilla Glass ensures the rigidity. Gionee has introduced curved edges on the display, which improves the overall look of the phone in an effective manner.

Hardware And Software

Gionee A1 comes with a MediaTek Helio P10 processor which is paired to a 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The storage can be upgraded via microSD up to 256GB. Camera Overview

Gionee A1

Aimed at the selfie-lovers, the front of A1 is equipped with a 16MP camera with f/2.0 aperture, ⅓.06’’ sensor, 5P lens and selfie flash. However, the rear comes with a 13MP camera with f/2.0 aperture, 5P lens and LED flash. As the focus is to take great selfies, the front has a better camera configuration over the back. The camera app also offers best shot, tap-to-focus, panorama, HDR, geo-tagging and other supporting features.

Price And Availability

The Gionee A1 will be offered in three color options – Grey, Black, and Gold. It is expected that Gionee A1 will make its Indian entry by April 2017 and will be priced Rs. 24,600 approximately.

Conclusion

The Gionee A1 has a premium look and feel. But, offering a MediaTek processor at a budget of Rs 24,000 approximately might turn out to be a setback for the company. However, the ones who are fond of clicking pictures through their phones may look forward to this offering of Gionee.
