Alcatel Pop Star With 4G Support and 5 Inch HD Display launched at INR 6,999

TCL Communication-owned brand Alcatel on Monday launched the Pop Star smartphone in India. It is available in Metal Silver and Metal Gold color options exclusively at Gadgets 360 at INR 6,999. This phone gives a direct competition to the phones like Asus Zenfone Go, Micromax Canvas and Xiaomi Redmi 2 prime. It has a 5 inch HD resolution (720p) IPS display panel with 160-degree wide viewing angle.

Alcatel Pop Star is powered by a Mediatek 1-GHz quad-core 64 bit CPU paired with 1GB of ram. It also comes with 8GB of internal memory which is further expandable upto 32GB via a micro-sd card which would be sufficient for all media consumption. It also features an 8MP rear camera with led flash and a 5MP front camera which would be enough to capture all with your special moments.

On the connectivity front, it has all the necessary options like 4G LTE, dual sim card support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, bluetooth and GPS. And to power the phone, we have a 2,000mah removable battery which would be enough to juice it for a whole one day. It also has the basic sets of sensors like proximity sensor, accelerometer and ambient light sensors.

It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. It measures 142.5×71.5×8.6 mm and weighs 145 grams. The phone looks very stylish with the cool color options.
