Gionee launches X1s with 16MP front camera for Rs. 12,999

Gionee India has extended its lineup by introducing the Gionee X1s at a price tag of Rs. 12,999. The X1 was launched last month, and this is the second phone in the series to further push the midrange lineup in an effective manner.

At a very decent price tag, Gionee is offering a fairly handsome camera configuration that gives the X1s an added edge over the competitors. Not only the rear camera, the front camera is also potent enough to give impressive results.

The Gionee X1s features a 5.2 inch HD (1280 X 720 pixels) display that icomes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Powering the all-new Gionee X1s is a 1.3-GHz Quad-Core MediaTek MT6737T 64-bit processor with Mali- T720 GPU.

Further coupled to the processor is 3GB RAM and 16GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB via microSD. The phone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box with Amigo 4.0 UI skinned on top.

The camera configuration includes a 16MP front-facing camera and a 13MP auto-focus rear camera with an LED flash. The fingerprint sensor is located at the back which can unlock the phone in 0.3 seconds. X1s has a dedicated dual SIM and microSD slot and is fueled by a 4,000mAh battery. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, and GPS.

Pricing And Availability

The new Gionee X1s comes in Black and Gold colour options and will be available from major retail stores across the country from September 21. The phone is priced at Rs. 12,999 and comes with additional offers which include Airtel 10GB data per month for 6 months on any data recharge of 1GB and above.

The smartphone also comes with 2 Paytm cashback vouchers codes with Rs. 250 cash back on a minimum purchase of Rs 350 on Paytm mall.
