HTC One X10 Live Images Leaked: MediaTek SoC and Android Nougat

HTC is reportedly preparing to launch a brand new premium mid-range smartphone. Deemed as the One x10, it will sport a metal construction along with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. Live images showing the upcoming handset are already making rounds on the internet. The release date of the HTC One X10 is going to be somewhere in the first quarter of 2017.

The HTC One X9 is already more than a year old now. Thus it is the perfect time for the Taiwanese manufacturer to launch its successor – the HTC One X10. The future smartphone is expected to be a mid-range device with decent internals.

HTC One X10 Rumoured Specifications

Just like the One X9, the One X10 will boast a 5.5-inch Full HD Super LCD panel protected with Corning Gorilla Glass. Speaking of the exteriors, the One X10 is reported to come with a brushed metal back. Powering the One X10 will be an octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 (MT6755) SoC. This is a mid-range chip with eight ARM Cortex A53 cores running at up to 2.0 GHz each and a dual core Mali T860 GPU.

Coming to memory, the phone will reportedly sport 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. There will be a memory expansion slot too which can take in up to 256 GB microSD cards.

Software-wise the phone will run Android 7.0 Nougat coated with HTC Sense UI. At the back, there shall be a 16 MP rear autofocus camera with dual LED flash. The selfie shooter will be a 8 MP unit.

Speaking of connectivity, the dual SIM smartphone will support 4G LTE along with VoLTE. Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS, etc. As of now, we don’t have any information about the battery capacity of the One X10. Do note that all the specs mentioned here are based on speculations, and nothing is confirmed till the official announcement.

Release Date and Pricing

Previously, the HTC One X10 was rumored to launch in late January, but that did not happen. Now, reports suggest that the smartphone may get unveiled at the MWC 2017 which is set to arrive later this month. Talking about pricing, the handset is going to cost around 1600 Yuan or Rs. 16,000 approximately.
