HTC today launched the U11+, the company’s latest flagship smartphone in the ‘U series’ in India. The HTC flagship phone, which is the upgraded version of the U11, was launched back in November in the US, and now it has been launched in India. The HTC U11+ price in India starts at Rs. 56,990 and it is a Flipkart exclusive.
HTC had announced the phone back in November last year. The HTC U11+ comes with premium features like a 6 inch Quad HD+ 18:9 Full-Screen display and is powered by the Snapdragon 835 SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM. Also, just like the original U11, it comes with Edge Sense feature as well.
HTC U11+ Specifications
The HTC U11+ sports a 6 inch Quad HD+ (2880 x 1440 pixels) Super LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The display has an aspect ratio of 18:9 which means it comes with minimum bezels. Dimension wise, the phone measures 158.5 x 74.9 x 8.5mm and weighs 188 grams. It is also water and dust resistant and comes with IP68 rating.
Powering the phone is a 2.45GHz Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor with Adreno 540 GPU. Memory wise, it comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage which is expandable up to 2TB via microSD. The phone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with HTC Sense U.I on top.
Connectivity options on the phone include Hybrid dual SIM (Nano/microSD), 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4 & 5GHz), NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS + GLONASS, USB-C 3.1 Gen 1. It also sports HTC USonic with Active Noise Cancellation, Hi-Res audio, HTC BoomSound Hi-Fi edition for better audio output.
Coming to the camera department, the device comes with a 12MP UltraPixel 3 rear camera with Dual LED flash, PDAF, BSI sensor, OIS, f/1.7 aperture, 1.4μm pixel size. It supports 4K video recording and 3D Audio as well. Up front, there is an 8MP camera with f/2.0 aperture, BSI sensor, 85° field of view, and 1080p video recording.
It sports a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and is powered by 3,930mAh built-in battery which comes with Quick Charge 3.0 support.
Pricing and Availability
The HTC U11+ is priced at Rs. 56,990 and comes in Amazing Silver color only. The device will be available exclusively from Flipkart starting from tomorrow, February 7. The Ceramic Black color HTC U11+ will also be launched soon.
