Huawei is reported to be getting ready to launch Honor 8 Pro soon, under the Honor sub-brand. According to speculations, the manufacturer will be launching it in early July. The Honor 8 Pro was launched in China as V9 this year with a 5.7-inch Quad HD display, 6GB RAM, and 64GB internal storage.

The Honor 8 Pro will come with a 5.7 inch Quad HD display. The phone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and will come with the company’s EMUI custom skin on top.
It features 12MP cameras at the front and the rear along with a massive 4000mAh battery. It is powered by company’s own Kirin 960 processor that runs on the company’s latest EMUI interface and comes with a slim, curvy design.
These are the specs that might be loaded on the upcoming Honor 8 Pro, for the Indian market but, the price range in which it will be offered is still not clear. According to speculations, the smartphone is expected to be tagged at Rs 37,500 which is in line to the OnePlus 5. But, according to other reports, Huawei might also price the smartphone equivalent to the OnePlus 5 or even less to take a competitive lead in the segment.

So, it can be stated that OnePlus 5 has already gained some significant competitors before its launch and it will be interesting to see how Huawei will manage to shake the brand value of OnePlus, which is quite strong. But, if Huawei is able to provide a competent handset at a smart pricing then we think, OnePlus 5 might not enjoy the clear lead in the market. Let’s wait and see how this flagship war turn out.
