iVoomi i2 with face unlock, Android 8.1 Oreo launched in India for Rs 7,499

Smartphone maker iVoomi has launched a new budget device, dubbed as the iVoomi i2 in India. It is the successor of the iVoomi i1 that was launched in the country last year. The device has been priced at Rs. 7,499 and is available exclusively from Flipkart.

The iVoomi i2 has a glass back and comes with minimal bezels on the front. While the device comes with a pocket-friendly price tag, the device offers decent specifications which are usually found in costlier devices.

The iVoomi i2 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box and comes with dual active 4G VoLTE SIM support. The device features a 5.45 inch HD+ IPS FullView display with a resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9.

In terms of performance, the iVoomi i2 is powered by a quad core Mediatek MTK6739 processor coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The storage on the device can be further expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card.


Coming to the camera department, the iVoomi i2 features a dual camera setup consisting of a 23MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary camera with HDR, Bokeh mode and panorama mode. On the front, the device sports an 8MP front for selfies.

The iVoomi i2 is powered by a 4,000mAh battery. Connectivity options on the device include dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11, micro USB port, GPS, Bluetooth 4, USB, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
