Exclusive: Kodak Ektra Cameraphone Launching In India This Month

Former imaging giant, Kodak, is gearing up to launch its cameraphone in India this month. The Kodak Extra features a 21 MP f/2.0 camera with OIS, PFAF and dual LED flash. The phone was launched by the former imaging giant in October last year, running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and a Mediatek Helio X20 processor.

Named after a 35mm camera launched in 1941, the Kodak Ektra is the company’s second such smartphone with a focus on imaging. The phone was launched in European markets for 499 Euros, so you can expected the Indian price to be around Rs. 35-40,000.

Kodak Ektra Specifications

The Kodak Ektra comes with a 5 inch full HD display, with a pixel density of 441 PPI. The cameraphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box with a stock UI and a multitude of Kodak apps built in.
