Moto G6 gets listed on Amazon ahead of launch: Price, specs revealed

The Moto G6 series of smartphones from Lenovo-owned Motorola is expected to be unveiled at an event in Brazil on April 19. However, before the official announcement, the phone has been listed on Amazon in the US and Canada, revealing the key specifications and price of the Moto G6 32GB model.

The Moto G6 listing on Amazon was first reported by tipster Roland Quandt. As per the report, the 32GB model was listed in Canada and the US on Amazon but, once it got reported, the webpage was taken down from the website. The URL might go live again after the Motorola official launch on April 19. However, before the page was taken down, a few key specs and price was revealed.

Moto G6 Specifications

All features mentioned in the listing are in line with the previous leaks. As per the listing, the Moto G6 is expected to come with a metal frame having a layer of glass and dual cameras with dual-tone LED flash, and the Motorola logo with fingerprint sensor housed in it will be at the back.

Up front, the phone will sport a 5.7-inch Full HD+ 18:9 aspect ratio display. Moto G6 is said to be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 450 chipset. Also, the Android Oreo running device will come in two storage variants – 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB.

In the camera department, the reports suggest that the device will come with dual 12MP + 5MP primary camera setup and a 16MP front-facing camera. It is expected to have a 3,000mAh battery with fast charging support.

Alongside Moto G6, Motorola will also be launching the Moto G6 Play and Moto G6 Plus as well. Moto G6 Plus is said to sport a 5.93-inch Full HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio and will be powered by a Snapdragon 630 processor. The Moto G6 Play will sport a 5.7-inch HD 18:9 display and house a Snapdragon 430 processor inside.

As per listing, the device price starts at $249.99 (roughly Rs 16,264). In a previous leak, Moto G6 Play was spotted priced at $199 (Rs. 12,975).
