Moto G6 Play may be launched in India on May 21 as a Flipkart Exclusive

Nearly a month after the official launch in Brazil, Motorola has officially started teasing the launch of the Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play in India. The Lenovo-owned company is teasing that only the Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play are coming soon to India. So, Motorola might not be planning to bring the top model Moto G6 Plus to the Indian market.

Motorola India has posted a 14 seconds teaser video on Twitter stating that Moto G6 and G6 Play are coming soon to India. Motorola usually launches its devices in India right after their launch in other markets just like it did with Moto G5 series which was launched in India there weeks after global launch.

Now, looks like this time again the company will follow the same trend. As per a report by BGR India, the Moto G6 Play will be officially launched in India on May 21. The report states citing people familiar with Motorola’s plans the smartphone will be exclusive to Flipkart.

To recall, the Moto G6 series consists of three devices – the bigger Moto G6 Plus with premium specs, the standard Moto G6 and the entry-level Moto G6 Play. As mentioned, the Moto G6 Plus will not be heading to India as of now. However, we might see the Moto G6 Plus launching in India in the coming days.
