In an era where Smartphones are dirt cheap, feature phones still make sense. We in India, realize this beyond all doubts, as most entry level smartphones being sold in the comparable price range stutter way too often and can’t handle even a day of aggressive calling on full charge.
Understanding this need and potential in developing markets, Microsoft introduces Nokia 222 and Nokia 222 Dual SIM, which aren’t as flashy or Smart, but flaunt valuable Nokia branding and promise excellent battery backup.
Both of these are Series30+ OS phones with 2.4 inch display (QVGA) and 2G/Edge connectivity. They allow you to check Facebook and Twitter feed, chat using FB messenger and GroupMe, listen to FM radio and share local file using Bluetooth based SLAM.
Up to 32GB MicroSD card is also supported , which you can use to stack music, images and other multimedia content. A 2MP basic camera module is also housed on the rear surface, which you can use to record 320 x 240px videos at 15fps.
