Nokia 6 (2018) 4GB RAM variant may soon be launched in India

Nokia had announced the New Nokia 6 or the Nokia 6 (2018) at the MWC 2018 held in Barcelona in 3GB RAM and 4GB RAM variants but during its India launch last month, the company only launched the 3GB RAM variant in India.

Now, the company has started teasing the launch of the 4GB RAM variant in India. The teaser posted by HMD Global backed Nokia mentions that a new device will offer even more space.

Nokia 6 (2018) Specifications

The Nokia 6 (2018) smartphone sports a 5.5-inch FHD (1080×1920 pixels) IPS LCD display with Gorilla Glass protection. It comes with a similar 16:9 aspect ratio display that we have seen on last year’s Nokia 6. The new Nokia 6 runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box and it is an Android One phone so it comes with the promise of swift software updates from Google.

The Nokia 6 (2018) smartphone features the same 16MP rear camera as the Nokia 6 2017 edition. The Zeiss optics camera comes with PDAF, f/2.0 aperture, 1-micron pixels, and dual-tone LED flash. On the front, the Nokia 6 (2018) sports an 8MP fixed focus camera with f/2.0 aperture, and 1.12-micron pixel. The device comes with the Bothie feature of the Nokia 8.

In terms of hardware, the Nokia 6 (2018) runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor coupled with Adreno 508 GPU. In terms of memory, the device comes in 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage variants. The storage can be further expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card.

Connectivity options on the device include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, FM radio, GPS / A-GPS, USB Type-C and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It is powered by 3,000mAh battery rated to deliver up to 16 hours of talk time.
