Nubia Red Magic 3 is the Nubia’s latest gaming phone which has been launched in China today. The new gaming phone comes with several high-end features. For example, it sports an HDR AMOLED display with 90hz refresh rate, is powered by Snapdragon 855 with up to 12GB of RAM, and also comes with an active cooling system.

Nubia Red Magic 3 Design
The Nubia Red Magic 3 just like its predecessors comes with a metal unibody design. There is again an RGB lighting strip on the back. You can also customize this lighting with several effects and over 16.8 million colors with a light effects editor.
The phone comes with an additional hardware switch that can offer many functionalities while gaming. With this switch, you can toggle Red Magic Game Space 2.0, quick-launch games, change performance settings and fan speeds, monitor the temperature in real time, block notifications while gaming, and record the gaming videos, etc.
There are also touch-sensitive triggers on the sides of the phone that act as additional hardware buttons so you don’t need a gamepad accessory. You can also customize these buttons as per the game of your choice.
The Nubia Red Magic 3 comes in four colors including Black, Flame Red, Camouflage and Red with Blue Gradient. The device also comes with an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance.

The Red Magic 3 sports a 6.65-inch Full HD+ (2340 × 1080 pixels) AMOLED display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The display supports HDR and comes with a 90Hz refresh rate. It also has 430 nits brightness and DC dimming feature.

The gaming phone is powered by the Snapdragon 855 7nm processor with Adreno 640 GPU. It packs up to 12GB LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB UFS 2.1 internal storage. The smartphone runs Android 9.0 Pie with Redmagic OS 2.0 on top.

The Red Magic 3 sports a 48MP rear camera with Sony IMX586 sensor that has 0.8μm pixel size and f/1.75 aperture. It offers 12MP output using pixel binning technology. It sports a 16-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture. The rear camera supports up to 8K video recording and 1920 fps slow-mo video recording.

The Red Magic 3 packs a 5,000mAh battery with 27W quick charging support. The massive battery with quick charge support can provide an hour of gameplay within a 10-minute of charge.

The gaming phone has dual front-facing stereo speakers with DTS:X and 3D sound technologies that offer a cinematic soundscape. The phone also includes second-generation ICE liquid cooling and has an actual moving fan that lowers the phone temperature up to 16 degrees Celsius.

The Nubia Red Magic 3 price starts at 2899 yuan (Rs. 30,065 approx.) for the 6GB/64GB version. The 6GB/128GB version costs 3199 yuan (Rs. 33,175 approx.) and the 8GB/128GB version is priced at 3499 yuan (Rs. 36,290 approx.).
The top-end 12GB/256GB version costs 4299 yuan (Rs. 44,590 approx.). We expect Nubia Red Magic 3 price in India to be the same as China pricing.
Nubia Red Magic 3 India Launch
Nubia Red Magic 3 will go on sale from May 3rd in China. It will be available globally in the USA, Canada, Europe, and the UK later in May. The company has also confirmed that it will launch in India soon and the reports say it will be launched in India on May 19th.
