Oppo A77T with 16MP Front Camera Listed at TENAA, Launch Imminent

Oppo A77T has just shown up at TENAA –  the telecom regulatory authority of China. The upcoming smartphone is a beefed up variant of the present Oppo A77.  Specification-wise, the A77T is quite similar to its predecessor apart from the processor. The soon to be launched device will sport a 16 MP selfie camera and run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box.

The forthcoming mobile would sport a 5.5-inch Full HD (1080 x 1920) IPS TFT display. Inside, the Oppo A77T is expected to pack the Snapdragon 625 SoC with eight Cortex-A53 cores clocked at up to 2.0 GHz. The original Oppo A77 features the MediaTek MT6750T chipset. Externally, the A77T is expected to rock a metal unibody similar to its predecessor.

Coming to the memory department, the upcoming smartphone will have 4GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. A micro SD card slot will be there too. The Oppo A77T shall run Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box. The fingerprint scanner of the phone would be embedded into the physical home button at the front.

A 13 MP camera will sit at the back of the device. For selfies, you shall get an even better 16 MP sensor. While the rear camera would get assisted by a LED flash, there won’t be any at the front. The Oppo A77T should be able to capture Full HD (1080 x 1920) videos through both its snappers.


Speaking of the connectivity options, Oppo’s newest smartphone will support 4G LTE, VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, and other usual ones. A 3,115 mAh battery will juice up the device. We are yet to have any pricing information about the Oppo A77T. However, the TENAA listing indicates that the release date is quite near. As of now, there is no information regarding the India launch.
