Panasonic P88 Launched At Rs 9,290 With 4G VoLTE

The Japanese tech giant, Panasonic has launched the P88 smartphone in India at a price tag of Rs 9,290. With the launch, the phone is available at all the major outlets in the country. Considering the key highlights of the phone, it features triple-LED flash module, 5.3 inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display with a 2.5D curved glass.

Camera duties include a 13 megapixel rear camera which is accompanied with a 5 megapixel front camera and LED flash module. This dual- SIM phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and comes with Android for Work Security feature for improved safety. Powering P88 is a 1.25 GHz Quad core processor coupled with 2 GB RAM.

The inbuilt storage on the Panasonic P88 is 16 GB while it is can be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. The connectivity front includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, FM radio, 3G and 4G. Fueling it is present a 2600 mAh battery.

Considering the list of sensors, the phone include ambient light sensor, accelerometer, and proximity sensor. The phone has been designed in sync with the other competitors, weighing 156 grams and having a thickness of 8.35 mm.

With this year coming to an end, most of the major mobile manufacturers are coming up with new offering or have already launched new models and following the same trend, Panasonic has also introduced a new budget smartphone. The P88 will be facing competition from the likes of Asus Zenfone 6, Sony Xperia C, Gionee Elife S5.1 and Redmi Note 3.
