Finally, after numerous leaks, rumors and speculations, the fourth generation Samsung phablet – Galaxy Note 4 has been unveiled at the Mobile UNPACKED 2014 sometime back. Undoubtedly, this phablet was eagerly awaited by the tech media and tech enthusiasts across the world. The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 like the other flagship devices will definitely be a tough challenger to the other key models in the market including the LG G3. Camera and Internal Storage

The Galaxy Note 4 comes with an advanced camera system that can capture and reproduce clearer and brighter images. At the back, there is a 16 MP Sony IMX240 main camera with a Smart Optical Image Stabilizer and dual LED flash. Other aspects of the rear camera include Dual Shot, Simultaneous HD video and image recording, panorama and HDR.

In addition, the handset is fitted with a 3.7 MP front-facing selfie camera coupled with F1.9 aperture that can capture 60% more light, 90 degree shooting angle and 120 degree wide angle for clicking a wider frame of selfies. Furthermore, the phablet comes with Side Touch feature that is a gesture based method that will activate the camera even when the screen is turned off. This Side Touch will become invisible as it is capacitive in nature and works with sensors.

The default storage capacity of the Note 4 is an ample 32 GB that should be adequate enough for the users to store all the necessary content. Complementing this is a micro SD card slot that supports expandable storage support. But, the limit of additional capacity is not revealed by the South Korean tech firm. Also, there is free 50 GB of Dropbox cloud storage space for couple of years.

Processor and Battery

In terms of hardware, the Galaxy Note 4 comes in two variants – one with an Exynos octa-core chipset and the other with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor. The former comes with a quad-core Cortex A57 and a quad-core Cortex A53 processors and Mali T760 graphics unit. On the other hand, the Snapdragon 805 model uses a quad-core 2.5 GHz Krait 450 processor, Adreno 420 GPU. Both the variants are coupled with 3 GB of RAM that can render efficient and incomparable multi-tasking capabilities.

There is a 3,220 mAh battery in the Galaxy Note 4 and this juicy battery should be capable of delivering a day long backup without any hassle. Moreover, the battery can be charged quickly with Adaptive Fast Charging and Ultra Power Saving Mode.

Display and Features

The display is yet another highlight of the Galaxy Note 4 as it flaunts of an extraordinary 5.7 inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display that boasts of a screen resolution of 2560×1440 pixels. This screen will definitely be capable of producing clearer and more vivid images with better viewing angles, deep contrast and faster response times in order to provide an exceptional viewing experience. Moreover, it comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection that will make it strong and scratch resistant.

The Galaxy Note 4 is fueled by Android 4.4.4 KitKat operating system and features connectivity aspects such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and 4G LTE.
