Western Digital introduces My Cloud Home and My Cloud Home Duo

Western Digital has launched the My Cloud Home and My Cloud Home Duo in India today which enable people to store their digital content on it. My Cloud creates a personal cloud for all the devices connected to the home network. The data can be imported into the My Cloud Home using the USB port and the social media profiles.

The media in the My Cloud Home can be accessed by the My Cloud app available for smartphone and tablets. The My Cloud Home are available starting at Rs. 11,999 for 2TB and goes upto Rs. 25,150 for 8TB storage. The My Cloud Home Duo is available starting from Rs. 25,800 for 4TB and goes up to Rs. 52,250 for 16TB.

WD My Cloud Home Duo

The WD My Cloud Home can be set up using a smartphone using the My Cloud Home app. The app can control almost everything on the device including giving and restricting permission to a specific user. The device is best for creative content users who need more storage to keep their art in one place which can be accessed by any device.

The My Cloud Home Solution can keep all your photos, videos and documents in one place and from there, everyone can access it with proper permission.  The WD My Cloud Home and My Cloud Home Duo does not need any additional subscription, you just need to buy the device. It is available on WD outlets and comes with two years of warranty.

The price for My Cloud Home is Rs. 11,999 for 2TB, Rs. 13,230 for 3TB, Rs. 14,725 for 4TB, Rs. 20,050 for 6TB and Rs. 25,150 for 8TB.

The My Cloud Home Duo comes at a price of Rs. 25,800 for 4TB, Rs. 28,500 for 6TB, Rs. 31,900 for 8TB, Rs. 42,100 for 12TB and Rs. 52,250 for 16TB.
